The Pittsburgh International Airport is 22 miles from The University of Pittsburgh. The airport is a hub for US Airways. The Pittsburgh Port Authority runs the convenient 28X bus route from the airport. The 28X departs every 20 minutes and the fare is $2.25. The route goes through downtown Pittsburgh and past Pitt, taking about an hour. The last stop is directly in front of CMU.
