Humanities Center 2006-2007: LIBERALISMS

The Humanities Center's research theme for 2006-2007 is LIBERALISMS. By using the plural, we want to emphasize the disparate meanings of the term "liberal" in United States and around the world. The theme will be explored through these events:

Our First Fellow: through the support of a National Endowment for the Humanities Challenge Grant, the Center will co-sponsor Post-Doctoral Fellow Soyang Park with the Center for the Arts and Society. Ms. Park will be in residence for the academic year and will participate in the spring Faculty Research Colloquium.
