Freshman Seminar

The HSP Freshman Seminar is designed to give new scholars an intellectually exciting, first-year introduction to the research and teaching interests of the faculty. The seminar takes the place of the Humanities and Social Sciences Freshman Seminar. The seminar is also intended to support first-year scholars through their transition from high school to college instruction. It is lead by a faculty instructor who is expert in the course topic and invested in helping students gain the skills and confidence they need in order to be successful students in Humanities and Social Sciences.
