About 76-100, Reading and Writing for an Academic Context

The first year English program offers two courses for undergraduates. The first course, 76-100, Reading and Writing for an Academic Context, is a
requirement for students who identify themselves as non-native
English speakers and who qualify for the course through an online
placement test. The course is aimed toward English learners who may be highly proficient but who still need instruction about the rhetorical and linguistic demands for academic reading and writing in an American university.
