Overview

Our goal in this project is to create ACT-R computational models that will be used as predictive tools for the different effects resulting from the application of empirically-based training principles. Currently are investigating the speed-accuracy trade-offs resulting from fatigue in a task with extended practice, stimulus-response consistency, and the Simon Effect. We are also developing a generic Instance-Based learning tool (IBL tool) that will help psychology and non-modelers to develop and test computational models.
