At the ARGUE table, you could find concerned parents, university faculty, community organizers, and local teens working elbow-to-elbow, writing. Grassroots documents help Pittsburghers offer solutions that speak across traditional boundaries of age, class, and race in out diverse urban neighborhoods.
For example, "Whassup with Suspension?" is a telling analysis of suspension practices, that was written by knowledgeable students and used to revise policy in area schools. The series of Landlord/Tenant projects produced a Handbook and readable guide for negotiating landlord/tenant disputes - from both perspectives.
