How about graduate school?

Graduate and/or professional school requires a great deal of time, money, support, and motivation. If you find yourself wondering if this is the right decision for you, here are several things to consider:

Reasons NOT to go to graduate school or professional school. . .
1. You are unsure about what you want to do, and think graduate school will help you discover your interests.
2. Graduate school is a safe place to be, while you are discovering your interests.
3. You are afraid you will not find a job.
4. You don't know of any careers available for your major.

If you think you are planning to go to graduate school for the wrong reasons, this is a clue for you to schedule a meeting with your Career Consultant.

Reasons to go to graduate or professional school. . .
1. Advanced education is required in the career(s) which you are considering.
2. A graduate degree can help you advance in your career choice.
3. You have a strong interest in a particular subject area, and wish to continue studies within that subject area, either for career advancement, or personal satisfaction.
