H&SS Graduate Admissions

Our graduate programs offer our students leading-edge opportunities in research, academics, and hands-on experience. Admissions to graduate programs are handled through our departments. To apply for any of the graduate H&SS programs, contact the department and request application materials. They can also put you in contact with the graduate advisor(s) who can answer any specific questions you may have about prerequisites and admissions policies.

Carnegie Mellon offers a wide range of social and professional development programs for its graduate students, including conference and special research projects funding, lunch and dinner programs, field trips, and more.
